You never need to come into an office unless you'd like to.
Step one
Call us, day or night
Call(352) 338-0500. We'll answer your questions, take some basic information, and arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care.
Step two
Complete the paperwork from home
We fill out the cremation authorization and vital statistics with you by phone or email, then handle every permit and filing with the state. Most families finish in about 20 minutes.
Step three
Receive your loved one's remains
After Florida's required 48-hour waiting period and medical certification, we perform the cremation ourselves. We call you the moment the remains are ready — typically 7 to 10 days, sooner with expedited cremation.
What you'll need to have ready
A little preparation makes the cremation arrangements go faster. Here's what we'll ask for when we speak.
Where your loved one is
Their full name, date of birth, and the name and phone number of the hospital, hospice, care facility, or residence, so we can bring them into our care.
A few life details
Social Security number, place of birth, occupation, and next of kin, so we can file the cremation permit and death certificate with the state on your behalf.
A way to sign the authorization
Email access to review and sign the cremation authorization, giving us permission to carry out your loved one's cremation. We'll walk you through it by phone if you'd rather.
Payment for the cremation
We take payment by phone once your package is confirmed. Nothing is due to begin bringing your loved one into our care.
Common questions about the process
Do we need to come into your care center at all?
No. Every step, from the first call to signing the cremation authorization, can be completed by phone and email. You're welcome to visit our care center if you'd like, but it's never required.
What if the death happens outside of business hours?
We answer the phone 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Call as soon as you're ready and we'll take it from there, day or night.
How long does the paperwork take?
Most families finish the authorization and vital statistics in about 20 minutes over the phone or by email. We handle every permit and filing with the state after that.
