Ben Edward Davis, 70, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026. He was born on September 3, 1955, in DeLand, Florida, and spent most of his life in Live Oak, Florida, where he built a life centered around family, faith, hard work, and laughter.
Ben proudly served his country in the United States Army before spending many years working as a heavy diesel mechanic and truck driver. He was known as a hardworking man who could fix just about anything and was always willing to help anyone in need.
A devoted Southern Baptist, Ben lived his life with kindness, compassion, and a strong sense of faith. He had a big sense of humor and loved making people laugh. Whether telling stories, joking with family and friends, or simply enjoying the company of those he loved, Ben left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Ben was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children, Daniel Davis, William Davis, and Christopher Davis; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Leann Davis and Nancy Davis, as well as his parents, William Davis and Francis Davis.
Ben will be remembered for his generous heart, his strength, his laughter, and the deep love he had for his family. His memory will live on in the many lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
