Blanche L. Parker, affectionately known to all who loved her as "Cookie," passed away peacefully on August 18th at the age of 76.
Cookie was born at home in the Amish country of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to the late Mary and Blair Bair. One of nine children, she spent her early years surrounded by a large and loving family. Throughout her life, she called Indiana, Pennsylvania home before relocating to DeLand, Florida, in 1995, where she remained for the rest of her life.
Cookie was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished member of her family. She will be remembered for the love she gave and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her.
In her later years, Cookie was lovingly cared for by her son, Anthony, and his fiancée, Cheyenne. Together, they devoted themselves to ensuring that she was safe, comfortable, and surrounded by love and care.
Cookie is survived by her son, Thomas; her beloved grandchildren, Jayden and Corey; and her sisters, Marie, Edna, and Donna, along with many other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
**Rest peacefully, Mom. You are loved, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, may you rest in the loving arms of heaven. **
