Boyd Valo Kelso

Boyd Valo Kelso, of Pensacola, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, at the VA Hospital in Lake City, at the age of 88.

Born on February 22, 1938, in Dupo, Illinois, Boyd lived a life dedicated to service, education, and the enrichment of others. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years before pursuing a meaningful career as a grade school geography educator. Through his teaching, Boyd inspired generations of students with a greater understanding of the world and the people within it.

Boyd will be remembered for his kind spirit, steady presence, and dedication to both his family and his profession. He leaves behind many loving family members and dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

No public services have been scheduled at this time. The family has entrusted direct cremation arrangements to A Direct Cremations.
