Carlton Lee Gaskins Jr., 66, passed away on March 28, 2026, in Gainesville, Florida. He was born on May 20, 1959, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Carlton Lee Gaskins Sr. and Dorothy May Blakely Gaskins.
Carlton lived a life defined by movement and exploration, spending time in Missouri, Florida, and throughout the Carolinas. He found his true passion as a truck driver, where the open road brought him both purpose and peace. Traveling across the country and life on the road were where Carlton felt most at home, embracing the freedom and solitude that came with the journey.
He is survived by his sisters, along with extended family and friends who will cherish his memory and the life he lived.
