Carol Jean Van Valkenburg, 79, entered into eternal peace January 11, 2017 at Ted & Diane Brandley Hospice house in Summerfield, Florida.
Carol was born January 4, 1938, a daughter of the late Peter and Virginia E. (Goldsmith) Hausch. She graduated Wauseon High School Class of 1956 and retired with 20 years of service for Champion Spark Plug, Toledo, Ohio. During her younger years she enjoyed music, bowling, golf and card games. Her later years were enriched with new and old friends through Candy Crush, Farmtown, Words with Friends, the wonder of nature webcams and always eager for a game of euchre. Throughout her life, she treasured and dearly loved spending time with her family.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her; loving brother, James P. Hausch (Joan) adoring children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, son Lenny Van Valkenburg (Aniko) with his sons Jeremy Van Valkenburg (Lori), Cory Van Valkenburg (Alyssa), son Rex Van Valkenburg (Kathy) their daughter Ally Van Valkenburg, daughter Jody Keil (Van Valkenburg) her children Jennifer Pelow, Juston Pelow (Laura), Brian Keil, and Andrew Keil, son Todd Van Valkenburg (Brenda) their sons Ryan Van Valkenburg (Jessica) and Adam Van Valkenburg and her 12 great-grandchildren.
