Carolyn Marie Cleveland, born on January 11, 1964, passed away peacefully from natural causes on mothers day, May 10, 2026. A devoted business owner and operator in the retail industry, Carolyn dedicated her life to both her family and her work. She was a loving mother to her daughters, Brandy and Kelly and her sons Jerry and Casey and many grandchildren which she loved deeply.
She was in a devoted and loving relationship of 43 years with her husband Randy Mucmunn.
Carolyn was known for her vibrant spirit and passion for life. She had a deep love for gardening, where she could often be found nurturing her plants and enjoying the tranquility they brought. Her interests also included fishing, thrifting, and collecting antiques, which she shared with friends and family. A lifelong reader, she delighted in immersing herself in books that transported her to different worlds.
Throughout the 1990s, Carolyn served as president of The Parents of Murdered Children organization, providing support and advocacy for those affected by violence. Her compassion extended beyond this role as she dedicated many hours of volunteer work at Squirrel Ridge Park, where she connected with the community and made lasting memories.
Carolyn will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her loved ones and her community. She will be laid to rest through cremation at 725 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32609, where friends and family will gather to honor her life and legacy.
Carolyn was preceded in death by: John Oldman, Lola Oldman, and Casey Cleveland, and Survived by Brandy Oldman, Kelly Oldman, Jerry Oldman, and Randy Mcmunn.
