Charles Louis Barkman

Charles Louis Barkman, born on June 29, 1927, in Phoenixville, PA, passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 99. A proud Army veteran who served during the Korean War, Charles was known for his dedication and service to his country.

Professionally, Charles spent many years as a pharmacist, where he was able to care for and connect with his community. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending his time tinkering with cars and watching NASCAR races. His passion for mechanics was matched only by his love for good company; he cherished socializing with friends and family and was a steady presence at his local church.

Charles is survived by his son, Dale Barkman. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him for his kindness, humor, and the countless memories he leaves behind. Following his wishes, Charles will be cremated, and his family will forever hold him in their hearts.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Charles Luther Barkman.
