David Glenn Shea

David Glenn Shea, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2026, in St. Augustine, Florida. He was born on April 21, 1967, in Gainesville, Florida, to Malcolm Lester Shea and Jane Elise Pridgen.

David proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, carrying the values of service and dedication throughout his life. Following his military service, he continued supporting fellow veterans through his work with the Veterans Affairs Administration. His commitment to helping others, particularly those who had also served, reflected his deep sense of duty and compassion.

Outside of his professional life, David found his greatest peace on the water. He loved the boating lifestyle and spent much of his time living aboard his boat, embracing the freedom and tranquility that came with life near the sea. The water was truly his happy place.

David will be remembered for his independent spirit, his love for the ocean, and the many friendships he built throughout his life. He leaves behind many family members and friends who will honor and cherish his memory.
