David Milo Shew, Jr. of Old Town, Florida, passed away on December 10, 2025, at a hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He was 66 years old.

Born on June 7, 1959, in Tampa, Florida, David was the son of David Milo Shew, Sr., and Julia Lee Wiggins Shew. He spent his working life as a commercial fisherman, a career that reflected his love for the water, his hardworking nature, and his appreciation for a life lived outdoors. David was known for his friendly spirit and down-to-earth personality, always ready with a smile or a story.

David will be remembered for his easygoing nature, strong work ethic, and the simple joy he found in everyday life. He leaves behind many memories shared with family, friends, and those who crossed his path.
