At age 66, Diana passed peacefully in her home in Summerfield, Florida, on February 1, 2017. She is survived by husband Gerry Penman and other cherished family: sisters Lorrie Vaccaro and Andrea Reis, sisters-in-love Vivian Miele and Renee Groskreutz, and brother Bruce Vaccaro. She is pre-deceased by parents Betty S. and Louis Vaccaro, and brother Louis “Jay” Vaccaro, Jr.
Dy’s incredible legacy was a lifelong career in art of the natural world: tile, colored pencil and ink. She deeply loved her family, friends and pets, the water, gardening, and reading. Her profound presence and loving devotion will be greatly missed. You can see some of her words and works at tilepainter.blogspot.com.
