Edith Mayer, of Gainesville, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at a hospital in Gainesville. She was 78 years old.

Edith was born on March 23, 1947, in Germany to her parents, Reinhold Mayer and Elizabeth Mayer. She carried with her a quiet strength and grace throughout her life, touching the lives of those around her with her kindness and thoughtful nature.

During her working years, Edith dedicated herself as an administrative secretary for an engineering firm. She was known for her reliability, attention to detail, and the steady support she provided to those she worked alongside. Her professionalism and warm presence made her a valued colleague and friend.

Edith will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the care she showed to others. She leaves behind family and friends who will cherish her memory and hold dear the moments they shared with her.
