In Loving Memory of Geraldine Hall MurphyOctober 27, 1938 - June 9, 2025Geraldine Hall Murphy, a beloved mother, devoted woman of faith, and gentle soul, went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2025, in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 86. Born on October 27, 1938, in Ragland, West Virginia, graduating from Burch High School in Delbarton, WV. Geraldine was the cherished daughter of the late John Lee Hall and Laura Mahone Hall.Geraldine was a woman who lived her life with grace, humility, and an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Her strength was quiet but firm, and her heart was always opento family, to friends, and to any soul in need of comfort. She was a proud graduate of her local high school and pursued some college studies, always valuing knowledge and growth. In the course of her life, she worked diligently alongside her husband, assisting with the clerical work in his trucking business. Her dedication to their shared work was a reflection of her loyalty and selflessness.A widow in her later years, Geraldine faced lifes challenges with dignity and perseverance, leaning fully on her faith. She found joy in the simple blessings: a well-cooked meal, time spent in prayer, sharing scripture, and the presence of loved ones. She was a nurturing presence in every room she entered, often offering encouraging words or a gentle touch that could soothe the heart.Geraldine was proceeded in death by her parents and sons, Richard Elmer Dillow and John Lee Dillow-Murphy. She is survived by her loving daughter, Denise Allen, who was not only her pride and joy but also her closest companion and friend. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christopher Trae Allen and fianc Pertearra Phillips, Corey Alexander Allen and Stephanie Ayala. Great Grandchildren, Kason Eli Mitchell-Allen, Marcello Jabril Allen, Sofia Allen and Sibling baby on the way. Geraldine is also remembered with deep affection by a host of other family membersnieces, nephews, cousins, and friendseach of whom carries a piece of her love in their hearts.Though she will be deeply missed, we rejoice in knowing that she now rests in the arms of her Savior, reunited with those who have gone before her. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and unconditional love will remain with us always.
