Gordon "Gordy" Arthur Pond, 57 years of age, of Belleview, FL died Sunday, Feburary 7, 2016 at home. He was born in Sayre, PA May 24, 1958 to Elmer W. Pond and Carol J. Rifenburg Pond (both deceased). He is survived by his daughter, Amber N. Pond of Ocklawaha, FL, siblings, Richard F. Pond of Jacksonville, FL, Carol J. Hightower of Summerfield, FL, Harold E. Pond of Summerfield, FL, Wayne A. Pond of Arizona, Melinda J. Pond of Summerfield, FL, Teresa M. Swafford of Chattanooga, TN, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by sibling Kevin J. Pond.Gordy was a graduate of Lake Weir High School, class of 1977. He was a carpenter by trade. He worked several years in the mobile home manufacturing.
