Helene Mary Alahverde

Oct 26, 1947 — Jan 19, 2026

Helene Mary (Blasick) Alahverde went home to be with the Lord on January 19th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy shaped by deep faith, unwavering devotion, and a love that never wavered. She lived her life with a fierce commitment to God and to the family she cherished above all else.

Helene is survived by her devoted husband, Stephen Armen Alahverde, with whom she shared 63 years of steadfast partnership. Their bond was one built on loyalty, resilience, and a love that endured every season of life. Together they raised six children — Kimberly Manners, Lisa Morris, Jennifer Alahverde, Anna Alahverde, Aaron Alahverde, and Joanna Kaniewski — each carrying forward her strength, her humor, and her heart.

She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 10 great‑grandchildren, all of whom she adored and prayed for faithfully. Her sister, Eileen Dimes, remains to honor her memory and the lifelong connection they shared.

Helene was a woman of remarkable strength — sometimes stubborn, always determined, and endlessly loving. She stood firm in her beliefs, protected those she loved, and never hesitated to speak her mind when it mattered. Her love was steady, unconditional, and felt in every hug, every conversation, every prayer whispered on behalf of her family.

Her faith guided her, sustained her, and shaped the way she lived. She trusted God with a quiet confidence, and that trust radiated through her actions, her words, and the way she cared for others.

Helene leaves behind a family forever changed by her presence and forever grateful for the love she poured into them. Her legacy lives on in the traditions she created, the strength she modeled, and the faith she passed down through generations.

She will be deeply missed, but her spirit remains — strong, loving, and wrapped in God's eternal peace.
