James Allen Draper

The Villages On June 10, James Allen Draper, age 64, in his special den at home, passed into Heaven and joined his sister and father, both of whom he had missed for decades. He was surrounded by his family and God's love.Jim was born in Morrisville, VT.A gifted carpenter, Jim worked in the construction industry, mostly as a supervisor.Jim moved to The Villages in 2004 with the love of his life, Janith Lockwood. He loved tools, golf, fishing, the Red Sox and Patriots.Jim is survived by his partner of 28 years, Janith Lockwood; his mother, whom he dearly loved; 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 children, 3 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.A memorial service will be held in Vermont in August.Marion County Hospice and Dr. Hildner, Pat & Jen supported/guided Janith and Jim and made this end of life experience bearable.
