Jerry Martin Johnson

Jerry Martin Johnson of Williston, Florida, passed away on October 14, 2026, at a hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He was born on August 28, 1943, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, to James Edward Johnson and Winfred Annette Johnson.

Jerry proudly served in the United States Army before continuing his education and earning his doctorate degree. He went on to build a career as a pharmacist with the University of Florida’s Shands Hospital, dedicating himself to his profession and the service of others.

Jerry shared over 45 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Shirley Johnson. Their years together were a cherished part of his life, and he leaves behind many family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
