Jorge Augusto Moniz Silva, 73 died peacefully after a very short battle with pancreatic cancer on Wednesday November 8, 2016 in Ocala Florida. Jorge was born in Angra do Heroismo, Terceira, Azores, Portugal. Jorge studied in Boston, Mass and California and earned a PhD in History.Jorge is survived by hisSister Catarina Simoes Moniz Silva Rocha of Yalaha, Florida. His Niece Susan Rocha-Gale and husband Wayne Gale of Howey in the Hills, FL. His Nephew Louie Rocha and Wife Renee Rocha Of Medford, MA and Bruno Rocha of Terceira, Portugal. He also leaves behind 3 Great-nephews Wayne Gale Jr.( fiance Erika Welch), Luis Rocha and Christopher Rocha.You will be missed. May you rest in peaceLove your family
