Karen Lynn Jopek

Karen Lynn Jopek, born on May 31, 1954, in Dunkirk, NY, passed away on June 8, 2026. She was a cherished homemaker who devoted her life to her family and made her home a welcoming space filled with love and warmth.

Karen is survived by her sons Denton Rowicki and his wife Lisa, Aaron Rowicki, David Lambe, and Shawn Jopek. She was also a proud mother to her daughter Kristin Coen. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Sarah Coen, Timothy Coen, David Lambe, Cordelia Lambe, Valiska Rowicki, Sophie Rowicki, Tyler Jopek, Rivers Jopek, Cypress Jopek, Laken Jopek, Kyle Raleigh, as well as grandsons Denton Rowicki, Justin Jennings, and granddaughters Amanda White and Jessica Harden. Karen is also survived by her sister Daine Tyma and her brother Mark Sutherland.

Karen's radiant spirit and nurturing nature will be remembered by all who knew her. Her family has announced that she will be cremated, and arrangements are being made for a memorial service to honor her life. Further details will follow.
