Karen S. Mitchell (67) of Queens, New York passed away on December 13, 2017 after a valiant battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Born January 6, 1950, Karen was the second of three children gifted to Thomas Charles and Marguerite Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and younger sister Wendy Ann Mitchell.
Karen is survived by Husband Dr. Lemuel B. Moore of Gainesville, FL, Brother Charles T. Mitchell of Gainesville, FL, Daughter Renee A. PremDas of Gainesville, FL, Son Scott C. Hinds-Lambeth of Williston, N.D., Grandson & Wife Ryan J. and Anastasia PremDas of Provincetown, MA, Granddaughter Veronica M. PremDas of Manitou Springs, CO, Nephew Daniel Mitchell & family of Brooklyn, NY, Nephew Wendell Mitchell & family of Poughkeepsie, NY, Niece Jasmin Mitchell & family of Poughkeepsie, NY, and loyal and beloved Fur Babies Rosie Girl & Grand-Pup Gordy Boy.
Loved & cherished by her family, Karen will be greatly missed.

I am so blessed to have known MS Karen Mitchell you were considered an extension of my family…I will cherish the last time I seen you and so enjoyed that time together.
