Levander Augustus Miley

Mr. Levander Augustus Miley, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away on September 7, 2026, at a hospital in Gainesville.

Born on October 9, 1962, in Daytona Beach, Florida, Levander was the son of Marvin Curtis Miley Sr. and Phyllis W. Hogan Miley.

Levander had a special gift with animals and was affectionately known as a dog whisperer. He took great pride in his work as an animal care technician for the Humane Society in Daytona Beach, where his compassion and love for animals made a meaningful difference. His gentle spirit and dedication to caring for those who could not speak for themselves will be fondly remembered.

Levander leaves behind many family members and friends who will forever cherish his loving memory. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
