Lloyd Wilbur Koser

Lloyd Wilbur Koser, age 96, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on July 30, 2026.

Born on July 15, 1930, in Londonderry, Pennsylvania, Lloyd was the son of Theodore Taft Koser and Inez May Baker Koser. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, carrying the values of dedication and service throughout his life.

Lloyd was especially passionate about baseball and found great fulfillment in his career as a baseball referee. His love for the game, integrity, and sportsmanship earned him the respect of players, coaches, and fellow officials alike. He will be remembered not only for his service to his country but also for the enthusiasm and fairness he brought to the ballfield.

Lloyd is survived by family and friends who will cherish his memory and honor the legacy of a life well lived.
