Lois Jeanne Casey

Lois Jeanne Casey, age 86, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, at a local hospital. Born January 1, 1940, in Ridgewood, New York, to Thomas Casey and Mildred Healey Schmieder, Lois grew up with a strong sense of family and community that carried throughout her life. She built a successful career as a real estate broker, known for her integrity, warmth, and the lasting relationships she formed with clients and colleagues alike.

Lois's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Her kindness, humor, and gentle spirit enriched the lives of everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be forever treasured by her family, extended family, and dear friends.

No public services have been scheduled at this time. Interment with her late husband will be arranged at a later date. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
