Mary Ann Fletcher

Mary Ann Fletcher, of Newberry, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and those who loved her dearly while under hospice care in Gainesville on Friday, May 15, 2026. She was 54 years old.

Mary was born on August 24, 1971, to Roger Dale Phillips and Filomena Rogero Phillips at the military base in Subic Bay. She carried a loving spirit throughout her life and was known for the kindness and warmth she shared with everyone around her.

Mary dedicated many of her working years as an accountant for the corporate retail store Walmart, where her hard work and dedication were appreciated by coworkers and friends alike. Above all else, Mary treasured her family and the many relationships she built over the years. She had a caring heart, a loving presence, and a way of making others feel welcomed and valued.

Mary leaves behind many family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by a whole bunch of people who love her very much, and she will not be forgotten. Her love, laughter, and gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
