Mary Lorraine Steele

Mary Lorraine Steele, of Keystone Heights, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, at a hospice care center in Palatka. She was 87 years old.

Mary was born on August 30, 1938, in Abbeville, Alabama, to the late Walter Kelley and Navelle Dobbs Kelley. Mary dedicated her working years to serving others as a registered nurse. Her kindness, patience, and steady presence left a lasting impact on countless lives. Beyond her career, Mary was known for her warmth, wisdom, and the simple joys she found in everyday life. She valued family, friendship, and faith above all else. Her memories and the values she instilled will continue to be cherished by the many friends and loved ones whose lives she touched. Mary's life was a beautiful reflection of compassion and grace, and she will be deeply missed.
