Michael Stephen Smith

Michael Stephen Smith, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of November 23rd at Cornerstone Hospice House. Born on March 18th, 1957, in Bethesda, Maryland, to Thomas Smith and Nancy Phillips, Michael lived a life defined by kindness, dedication, and the deep love he held for his family and friends.

After finishing high school, Michael built a fulfilling career as an auto technician at a car dealership, a trade he genuinely enjoyed. He took pride in his work, always willing to lend a hand or share his knowledge. His reliability, craftsmanship, and warm spirit made him a cherished coworker and a trusted friend.

Michael shared his life with his loving wife, Elizabeth Louise Smith, who stood by his side through every season of life. Together, they built a home filled with companionship, laughter, and devotion. Michael will be deeply missed by Elizabeth, as well as by the many family members and friends whose lives he touched with his easygoing nature and generous heart.

Those who knew Michael will remember him for his gentle presence, his sense of humor, and the simple joy he found in everyday moments. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and treasured memories.
