Norma Jansen Wilson

Summerfield, FL-Norma Jansen Wilson was reunited with her family in the peaceful shade of Uhai, on Wednesday July 27th, 2016 from her home in Summerfield, Florida.She was born in the town of Wright to Jarvie and Florence Bivens Jansen of Berne. She was a proud graduate of Berne Knox Central's Class of 1952.She married Joseph Wilson June 26th 1953 and together they raised two daughters, Marie and Wendy.Norma and Joseph moved their family to Florida in 1973. Shortly thereafter, Norma decided that a career in law enforcement would be a good fit for her. She joined the Lake County Sheriff's Department in 1982, and her watch ended there in 2002.She is preceded in death by her husband. She has three grandchildren, Patrick, Tiffany, and Laura.
