Patrick Michael Duffy

Sep 30, 1988 — Sep 12, 2026

Patrick Michael Duffy, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2026.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Patrick was born on September 30, 1988, to Michael Duffy and Susan Stafford, the youngest of their three children.

Patrick and the love of his life, Jessica Duffy (Keyes), married in a stunning ceremony in Riviera Maya, Mexico, on February 8, 2025, and resided in Atlanta, GA, prior to their recent move to St. Petersburg, FL.

A gifted athlete, Patrick spent his childhood playing baseball at NYO, making the all-star team several years in a row. In later years, he became an avid golfer. Patrick was a very caring person who was always willing to lend a hand to family or friends. He was known for his quick wit and could easily throw out the perfect one-liner in the right setting. Patrick seemed to excel at anything he put his mind to, which was particularly evident in his cooking. He would spend hours hand grating cheese for his famous mac-n-cheese or happily wake up at any hour of the day to throw something on his smoker. Patrick was a lover of animals, especially dogs. Everyone will remember the care, love, and dedication he provided to his cocker spaniel, OJ, who was always at his side for over 16 years. Patrick also enjoyed spending time with his extended family during their annual family reunion in St. Augustine. He and his cousins created countless memories and stories of their antics will continue to be shared for many years to come.

Patrick's greatest joy was the life he built with his wife, Jessica. After moving to St. Petersburg, he loved that he could golf year-round, and Jessica began joining him on the course, too. Some of their happiest days together were filled with beach dates, trying new recipes or restaurants, playing with their newest addition (maybe foster fail!) kitten Piper, and all of the little routines and inside jokes that made their life feel completely their own.

Patrick loved food with his whole heart and was known to order enough for three people, clean every plate, and somehow still have room for dessert. He was especially serious about milkshakes, and "milkshake time" became a regular part of life at home, despite the fact that he was lactose intolerant.

Jessica loved so many things about Patrick...his humor, his brilliant mind, his beautiful eyes, his big smile, the way he could make her laugh, and the way she could simply just be with him. She knew almost immediately that he was the man she would marry. Loving Patrick was one of the greatest gifts of Jessica's life, and she will always be grateful that she got to call him her husband, her best friend, her person, the love of her life, and the one she imagined growing old beside.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Jessica; his father, Michael Duffy; his mother, Susan Stafford; his sister, Shannon Fahey (David); his brother, Kevin Duffy (Ali); and his nephews, Stafford and Patton Fahey. Patrick will be dearly missed by his large extended family, including many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many friends.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 27, at 1:00 PM, at Arlington Memorial Park, Legacy Chapel. A graveside burial will follow.

In Patrick's memory, a fund has been established to support his wife Jessica as she navigates this unexpected loss and the changes ahead. Contributions can be made through GoFundMe here: https://gofund.me/fe859a524.
