Peter James Mackenzie

Mr. Peter James Mackenzie, of Branford, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at the Malcolm Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Gainesville. He was 63 years old.

Peter was born on April 24, 1962 in Massachusetts to Donald Mackenzie and Carol Roberts Mackenzie. A proud patriot, Peter honorably served his country in the United States Army. His time in the military reflected the strength of character and dedication he carried throughout his life.

Following his service, Peter built a career as a skilled fabricator and welder. Known for his hardworking spirit and steady hands, he took pride in his craft and the work he accomplished. Those who knew him appreciated his quiet determination, reliability, and the genuine kindness he showed to others.

Peter will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
