Richard Leslie Newman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Leslie Newman, who left us on November 15, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on June 4, 1951, in Crawford County, PA, Richard spent his final years in Hampton, FL, surrounded by family and friends.

Richard was a dedicated mechanic in the automotive industry, known for his skill and determination. He may not have had formal education beyond the 8th grade, but he was a true hands-on learner, and his passion for fixing things was evident to all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Jeannie Starling, his mother, Alivia Newman, his sister, Linda Sellers, and his brother-in-law, James Sellers. Richard's family will cherish the memories they have of him and hold him close in their hearts.

A cremation service will take place on November 24, 2025, at 11:30 AM at 620 E Nona St, Starke, FL 32091. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Richard's life and share stories that will keep his spirit alive.

Though Richard has left this world, his legacy of hard work, love for family, and unwavering spirit will be remembered by many. We invite everyone to come together in remembrance of a remarkable man who brought joy to our lives.
