Sherri Thompson

Sherri Thompson, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on February 7, 2026. She was born on October 11, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan, to Carol Yvonne Woody Thompson and Henry Wayne Thompson.

Sherri had a vibrant spirit and a true love for life that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a warm heart, a caring nature, and a way of making people feel welcome and understood. Whether through a smile, a laugh, or a simple conversation, Sherri left a lasting impression on those around her. The memories she created with family and friends will be cherished, revisited often, and held close for years to come.

She leaves behind her beloved son, Jake Walker; her brother, Henry Thompson; her nieces, Nikki Gilbert, Shelly Thompson, and Ashley Thompson; and her nephews, Billy Thompson and Riley Gilbert. She is also lovingly remembered by many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were brightened by her presence. All who knew and loved Sherri will miss her deeply, and her memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love she gave so freely.
